Character Rules • You are free to make as many characters as you desire. However, each character will require an account of it’s own. This is so that character levels may be more easily tracked. • Unless approved by staff, new characters may not begin above level one. If you wish to create a character of a higher level, speak to one of the site staff and ask for permission. • Character Name, Age, Gender, are all self-explanatory. You should have a real name for your character - "FoxyLady" doesn't cut it unless this is an alias you character goes by, in which case, you may use that in RP, however we ask that you know your character enough to know what their true name is. • Class and Race restrictions and availability can be found here. • Realistically, a character is bound to have flaws. Mary-Sues, or characters that seem flawless, are frowned upon. Balance your character out. If they are extremely good looking, maybe they aren't much of a fighter, etc. etc.

Leveling SystemAt Land of Adhumlia, we use a post based level and experience system. All characters begin at level 1 and slowly gain experience until they obtain enough experience to advance to the next level of their class. The abilities and stats your character gains at each level is detailed in their class and these adjustments must be made on your characters profile. Your character gains experience every time you post- so in essence, your post count is your characters experience. Your post count will only increase as you post in the RP boards- no spamming the boards in an effort to speed up your characters progress. All members first characters start at level 1; subsequent characters may obtain permission from staff to begin them at higher levels. During events, your experience gain (post count) is worth twice the amount- each post is worth 2. So be so not to miss out on these exciting and world shaping events. How much experience is needed for a character to proceed to their next class level? Well, here is a table to anser this very question. Level | Experience | 2 | 30 | 3 | 75 | 4 | 140 | 5 | 230 | 6 | 350 | 7 | 530 | 8 | 770 | 9 | 1,150 | 10 | 1,600 | 11 | 2,350 | 12 | 3,300 | 13 | 4,750 | 14 | 6,650 | 15 | 9,950 | 16 | 13,500 | 17 | 19,000 | 18 | 27,000 | 19 | 38,500 | 20 | 53,500 |
It's important to note that all character begin with 1 Feat. Fighters begin with one additional feat, and humans also begin with an additional feat. Characters gain an additional feat at levels: 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 and 19. Also, characters get to add 1 point to any main stat (Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma.) at levels: 4, 8, 12, 16 and 20.
