Before the minor races settled in Havencrest, it was a stretch of shoreline notorious for wrecking ships that strayed too close to it's rocky shores. It's not known how many vessels have been claimed in the past, but there are more than 100 shipwrecks still somewhat intact and even then, storms and tides often uncover wreckage of older ships.
Despite and because of these dangers, people would still come to the shore to loot the wrecked remains of the ships or claim slaves. While it has been a long time since a ship has fatally wrecked upon the shore, visitors to the shore have on occasion come across the odd piece of gold leftover from a lost treasure.
Port Glory is the only true safe haven along the shore, nestled in a deep watered bay, it is the main port of entry to the Havencrest Coast. The shore is littered with villages and towns, most are fishing, but some still make a living with salvage.
